Sansevieria 'Gabriella Crown' | Exotic Collector's Houseplant | Compact Sansevieria with Rigid Leaves

$17.52

About this plant

Sansevieria 'Gabriella Crown' is a compact sansevieria with rosette growth and stiff, fleshy, upright leaves. Its appeal lies in the plant's architecture: firm, well-structured leaves with a clean, graphic pattern and a sculptural appearance that fits perfectly into collections of hardy, low-maintenance plants.

As with many sansevierias, its growth is slow and orderly. It's not a plant that changes its appearance quickly, but it does form an increasingly defined clump as it develops new shoots from the base.

What makes it special

Within the group of compact sansevierias, 'Gabriella Crown' stands out for its restrained size and the crown-like arrangement of its leaves. It doesn't aim for the impact of a large or exuberant plant, but rather a more graphic, understated, and structured presence.

It is a good option for those who appreciate less common sansevierias and want a hardy plant, but with more botanical and visual interest than the more common supermarket varieties.

Grown in El Campito Verde

At El Campito Verde, we cultivate and acclimate our sansevierias under controlled conditions, paying special attention to irrigation, ventilation, and the substrate. This plant is kept in a well-draining and stable mix, designed to reduce the risk of excess moisture around the roots, which is one of the most important aspects of growing this type of plant.

We do not work with newly purchased plants for immediate resale: each specimen is checked, adapted and cultivated with criteria appropriate to its real needs.

Basic care

Light: It thrives in bright, indirect light. It tolerates slightly less bright locations, although it will grow more slowly.

Watering: very moderate. Allow the substrate to dry completely before watering again. In winter or with low light, it is advisable to water much less frequently.

Substrate: well-draining, aerated, and with a mineral component. Avoid heavy mixes or those that remain damp for many days.

Humidity: It does not need high ambient humidity. It adapts well to normal indoor environments.

Temperature: ideally above 15°C. Avoid intense cold, frost, and damp substrate at low temperatures.

Difficulty level: easy, provided you respect its natural growth cycle and don't overwater it. The most common mistake is treating it like a tropical plant that needs frequent watering.

It can be toxic to pets if ingested, so it should be kept out of their reach.

Before you buy

Plants are living things, and each specimen may show slight variations from the photographs: size, number of leaves, intensity of the pattern, rosette shape, or development of new shoots. These differences are part of the plant's natural growth.
